80 gr. (1/3 cup) very soft or melted butter
250 gr. (1 cup) almond or regular milk
1 tsp. salt
80 gr. (1/2 cup) sugar or 1/3 cup honey
350-400 gr. (3 1/2 to 4 cups) flour
150 gr (1/2 cup) sour dough starter or 50 gr. (2 packets) (2 1/2 tbsp.) dry starter
1.Place ingredients into the machine in the same order as above except mix the sour dough starter into the liquid ingredients first. If using dry starter put it in last.
2. Set the machine to program 4 (Brioche).
3. Without a bread machine use the traditional method of kneading and rising. In that case shape the dough into a loaf after the first rise and then let rise until double again. Bake in a conventional oven for about 30 minutes or until golden.
