Easy Blueberry Scones

IMG_20140924_1012546643 cups flour (half, whole wheat if you like)
1/2 cup sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup butter (or half coconut oil)
1 egg
1 cup milk (or almond milk, even yogurt)
flavoring if desired (1 tsp vanilla, almond extract..)
1/2 to 1 cup blueberries

1. Sift together dry ingredients.
2. Cut in the butter as for pie crust.
3. Beat the liquid ingredients together.
4. Quickly mix in the above (adding the blueberries) to form a ball.
5. Divide the dough into two balls and roll them into two circles about one inch
in thickness.
6. With a large knife impress 8 wedges into each circle without cutting through.
7. Place on a greased pan and bake about 15-20 min. at 370 F (180 C).
