Honey Rye Beer Bread

INGREDIENTS for one loaf pan or 3 mini loaves

1 1/2 cups beer (12 fl. oz.)
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup rye flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp caraway seeds (optional)
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup melted butter

PROCEDURE

1. Thoroughly whisk all dry ingredients together.
2. Blend beer, honey and half of the butter together and mix it into the above dry ingredients until smooth.
3. Transfer batter into a buttered regular loaf pan or three mini loaf pans (like I used).
4. Distribute the rest of the melted butter over the loaf (or mini loaves).
5. Bake at 180deg C (370deg F) for 50-60 minutes (or 30-40 min. for the mini loaves).
6. Turn out of pan(s) after 5 minutes. Cool completely.
