One medium salmon trout fillet
two artisan poppy or sesame seed buns sliced in half
a few lettuce leaves
one medium tomato, sliced or a few sliced cherry tomatoes
2 tbsp. olive oil
salt and pepper
optional: mayonnaise, a rosemary sprig for frying
1. Fry the trout fillet on both sides in the hot olive oil. (add the rosemary sprig if you have it on hand)
2. Place half of the cooked trout on each half bun and top with the vegetables.
3. Serve with mayonnaise if desired.
TIP: Salmon is especially delicious in this recipe too.
