Turkey Meatballs with Mango Sauce


500 gr. (about 1 lb.) ground turkey
one small scallion or white onion finely chopped
chopped parsley
1/2 minced garlic clove
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 egg
salt and pepper
olive oil fro frying

mango sauce
Blend together in a food processor or blender:
a small ripe mango cubed
a small white, green onion (or piece of scallion)
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
salt to taste
Mix in a leaf of mint and basil roughly chopped into the finished sauce


1. Mash all the meatball ingredients together until completely combined.
2. Form into small meatballs flattening slightly. Dust them with flour.
3. Fry them in hot olive oil on both sides until done. Serve with the above mango sauce.
