Carrot Curry Hummus

1 cup cooked chickpeas
1/4 cup tahini
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 medium fresh carrot, chopped
1 tbsp. lemon juice
pinch of salt
1 tbsp. curry powder
2 – 3 tbsp. water
a few pecan halves to decorate


1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor except water and pecans.
2. Blend until smooth adding the water until a creamy consistency results. Add more water if necessary.
3. Place hummus in a serving bowl and decorate with pecan halves if desired.
