Three Minute Stovetop Granola


For each 2 cups of oatmeal mix in:
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup sesame seeds, 1/4 cup chopped walnuts and/or hazelnuts, chia seeds etc.
2 tbsp. butter or oil (coconut, etc.) for toasting cereal
Optional: 1/2 cup dried fruit (cranberries, raisins, papaya) to be added after granola is done.


1. Melt 2 tbsp. butter or coconut oil in a skillet and add the granola mix.
2. Toast for about 3 minutes stirring constantly until the granola is caramelised and golden.
3. Cool and add the dried fruit if desired.

TIP: When ready to eat you can also add sliced fresh fruit and berries if you wish.

VARIATION: Instead of brown sugar melt 2 tbsp. agave syrup or honey plus 1 tsp. vanilla extract in the coconut oil (over low heat). Mix this into the oatmeal mixture and proceed to toast the granola in the skillet.
